Terms of use

These terms apply whenever you use betbot.stream, whether you're browsing the free preview or you have a paid subscription.

1About these terms

Bet Bot ("Bet Bot", "we", "us") is operated by BetBot Ltd. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Our privacy policy and cookie policy below also apply, and explain how we handle your information.

2You must be 18 or over

Bet Bot covers football markets that people bet on, so it is strictly for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the site or buy a subscription. If we have reason to believe a user is under 18, we will close their access and refund any subscription payments.

3What Bet Bot is, and what it isn't

Bet Bot is a statistical analysis tool. It uses a mathematical model built on historical results to estimate probabilities for upcoming football matches, and compares them with bookmaker prices that have had the bookmaker's margin removed.

• We are not a bookmaker or gambling operator. We do not accept bets, hold funds for betting, or have any commercial arrangement with bookmakers.
• Any decision to bet is yours alone, and you are responsible for it. Only bet with money you can afford to lose.
• Our track record, including "last week's top picks", shows past results. Past performance tells you nothing certain about future results.
• We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, club, competition or governing body. Team names, crests and competition names belong to their owners and are used only to identify fixtures.

4Gambling responsibly

If gambling stops being fun, stop. Free, confidential support is available:

If you'd like us to close your Bet Bot access for this reason, email us and we'll do it promptly, with no questions asked.

5Your access

• Anyone can view the free preview. Full analysis is for paying subscribers.
• When you subscribe, your browser stores an access key that unlocks the full site on that device. Your subscription is for you personally. Please don't share your access, sell it, or let others use it.
• You're responsible for keeping your devices and email account secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your subscription.

6Subscriptions, free trial and payment

• Plans. A subscription costs £4.99 per month or £49.99 per year. The price you'll pay is always shown before you confirm.
• Free trial. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. It's for first-time subscribers only, and is limited to one per person, email address and payment card. If you have subscribed before, you'll be charged from the start.
• When you're charged. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged automatically when it ends. After that, your subscription renews automatically each month or year, on the same date, until you cancel.
• Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it's sorted out.
• Price changes. If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies. You can cancel before it takes effect.

7Cancelling

• Cancel any time. Use "Manage subscription" on the site, or email us. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that you won't be charged again.
• During the trial. Cancel before the 7 days are up and you won't be charged anything.
• Refunds. We don't normally refund part-used months or years. This doesn't affect your legal rights.
• Your legal right to cancel. UK consumer law usually gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase. When you subscribe, you ask us to give you full access straight away and you accept that, once the paid service has started, you lose that 14-day right to the extent the law allows. The free trial is there so you can try everything before paying. If something has gone wrong, email us and we'll look at it fairly.

8Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, resell or redistribute the site's predictions, data or analysis, including in tipster groups, channels or other services;
• use bots, scripts or any automated means to access the site or its data feeds;
• try to bypass the paywall, share or reuse access keys, or access parts of the site you aren't entitled to;
• reverse-engineer, interfere with, overload or attack the site or the services behind it;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or to mislead anyone about where the analysis comes from.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or end your access without a refund.

9Our content

The site, its design, the model and its outputs, and the written analysis belong to us or our licensors. While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to view them for your own non-commercial use. You can share a link to the site, or quote small parts with credit to Bet Bot. Anything more needs our written permission.

10Accuracy and availability

• Fixtures, results and odds come from third-party data sources. We work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee they are always complete, correct or current. Kick-off times, line-ups and odds can change after we publish.
• Predictions are usually updated on Fridays and Tuesdays, but timings may vary.
• We aim to keep the site running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may also change, add or remove features as the product develops.

11Our liability to you

• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
• We are not responsible for any money you lose betting, or for any decision you make based on the site. The analysis is information, not advice.
• The site is for personal use. We are not liable for any business losses, including lost profit or lost opportunity.
• If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.
• Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.

12Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect the site or other users. If we permanently close Bet Bot, we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any unused part of a subscription you've paid for.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change significantly affects paying subscribers, we'll email you beforehand. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

14Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first. Most problems can be sorted out quickly by email.

Beat BetBot game rules

Beat BetBot is a free game on betbot.stream, played with BetBucks. These rules apply on top of the terms of use above.

1What the game is

Each round you get 1,000 BetBucks to back prices on our match previews. BetBot, our model, plays the same round. Players are ranked by how well their BetBucks do.

BetBucks are not money. They're free, you can't buy them, and they can't be sold, swapped or cashed out. There are no prizes unless we say so in writing for a specific competition. Nothing in the game is a bet with us or anyone else, and it isn't betting advice.

2Who can play

You must be 18 or over. You play with one account per person, tied to your email address. You don't need a subscription. If you have one, the game uses your subscription sign-in.

You sign in to the game by entering your email address. There's no password and we don't send you anything. That keeps it quick, but it means anyone who knows your email address could sign in to your game account. A game sign-in only ever gives access to the game. It never unlocks a subscription, the full previews or the model's figures.

3How a round works

• Rounds: a new round opens with each set of predictions, usually Friday (weekend) and Tuesday (midweek). When a new round opens, the previous one closes to new bets. Bets already placed still settle.
• Prices: the bookmaker odds shown on our previews when the round opens. They don't change during the round.
• Stakes: whole numbers from 10 to 250 BetBucks a bet, up to 1,000 BetBucks a round. Unused BetBucks don't carry over.
• Bets: singles, or accumulators ("accas") of 2 to 5 legs from different matches, with total odds capped at 50. Per match you can back one result (home, draw or away) and one goals line (over or under 2.5). The same selection can be in a single and an acca.
• Kick-off: each bet locks when its first match kicks off. Until then you can cancel it and get the BetBucks back.

4Settling bets

• Bets settle on the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, as reported by our results source. Extra time and penalties don't count.
• A winning single returns stake × odds. An acca wins only if every leg wins.
• If a match is postponed or abandoned, or we have no result 7 days after kick-off, that selection is void. A void single is refunded. A void leg drops out of an acca, and the acca settles on the remaining legs.
• If we find a mistake in a price, a kick-off time or a result, we may correct it and re-settle the bets affected.

5Scoring and leaderboards

Players are ranked by return on stake: BetBucks won minus BetBucks staked, divided by BetBucks staked, counting settled bets only. You appear in the tables from your first settled bet. Ties go to the player with more profit, then to whoever placed their last bet first.

Your leaderboard name, avatar and record are public: anyone can open your profile from the leaderboard and see your results and your settled bets. Bets that haven't settled yet are never shown. We may also feature your leaderboard name, avatar and settled results in our social media posts about the game; email us if you'd rather we didn't. Your leaderboard name is public. It must be 3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores, and it can't be offensive, impersonate anyone or look official. We can change or remove a name that breaks this rule. Email us if you want to change yours.

While the game launches, the leaderboards also include demo players that we run. They bet on the same prices under the same rules, are settled on the same results, and will be removed as real players join.

6BetBot

BetBot is the account our model plays from. When each round opens it backs up to 10 singles of 100 BetBucks, picked by a fixed rule from the same prices you see. The rule is described on the game page, and when we change it we say so there, and the record shown is the record under the current rule. Subscribers can see its picks straight away. Free players see each pick once that match kicks off. BetBot appears on the leaderboard but isn't a player and can't win anything.

7Fair play

One account per person. Don't use scripts or automated tools, share accounts, or try to exploit faults in the game. If you do, we may remove your results, suspend your account or close it.

8Taking a break

The game should be fun. If it stops being fun, you can close your game account at any time from Close my game account on the game page. Your name comes off the leaderboards and you won't be able to sign in to the game. Email us if you later want it reopened. Closing your game account doesn't affect a subscription.

9Changes to the game

The game is free, so we can change the rules, reset scores at the start of a season, or pause or end the game. We'll post changes here, and won't apply new rules to bets already placed.

Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information, under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

1Who's responsible for your data

The data controller is BetBot Ltd. For anything about your data, email home@betbot.stream.

2What we collect

• Subscription details: your email address, name and billing country, collected through Stripe when you subscribe. We receive your Stripe customer reference and subscription status, such as trial, active or cancelled. We do not receive your full card number.
• Access key: a signed access key stored in your browser that proves your subscription is active.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and request logs. This is processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Analytics, only if you agree: pages and leagues viewed, how you found us, approximate location (country or city), device type and session length, collected by Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
• Beat BetBot game: if you play, your email address, your leaderboard name, the date you confirmed you're 18 or over, and your bets and results. We also briefly record the IP address of each sign-in attempt, so we can limit repeated attempts.
• Messages: anything you send us by email.

We don't ask for or collect sensitive information such as health data, and we don't use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3Why we use it, and our legal basis

We don't send marketing emails unless you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

4Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers. They process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it secure:

• Stripe: payments and subscription management. Stripe is also an independent controller for its own fraud-prevention and legal obligations. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: website hosting, data storage, content delivery and security.
• Google: Google Analytics, only if you consent. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when it fetches them.
• Flagpedia (flagcdn.com): supplies the country flag images. Your browser fetches them directly, so this service sees your IP address.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

5International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by an approved safeguard, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

6How long we keep it

• Subscription and payment records: while your subscription is active, then up to 6 years after it ends, for tax and accounting purposes.
• Analytics data: no more than 14 months, then deleted automatically.
• Emails: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless they're needed for an ongoing issue.
• Beat BetBot game: your game account and bets while your account is open. If you close it, your name comes off the leaderboards straight away, and if you ask us to delete your data we'll remove your email address within one month. Records of sign-in attempts are deleted after 24 hours.
• Your access key: stays on your device until it expires or you clear your browser storage.

7Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct anything that's wrong or incomplete;
• have your data deleted, where we have no need or legal duty to keep it;
• restrict or object to how we use it, including anything based on legitimate interests;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, for example by turning analytics off in cookie settings.

To use any of these rights, email home@betbot.stream. It's free, and we'll respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please talk to us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.

8Under-18s

Bet Bot is for adults only. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we find that we have, we'll delete it.

9Security

The whole site runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access keys are cryptographically signed, and card details are handled only by Stripe. We limit who can access personal data and use reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach puts your rights at risk, we'll tell you and the ICO as the law requires.

10Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top whenever this policy changes. If the change is significant, we'll tell subscribers by email.

Cookie policy

Cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, are small pieces of data saved on your device. Here's every one Bet Bot uses.

1Essential: always on

These are needed for the site to work, so the law doesn't require your consent for them. You can block them in your browser, but the site may stop working properly.

2Analytics: only with your consent

We don't use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies. Google Analytics' advertising features are switched off.

3Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and site data in their settings. Clearing site data for betbot.stream will sign you out of the full site on that device. If that happens, use "Manage subscription" or email us to get access back.
